Who it's for: pets that find baths, grooming or nail trims stressful, and dogs and cats who enjoy licking.

When it's not the right pick: pets that try to chew or swallow the mat — supervise and remove it if so.

Will it stick to any surface? It works best on smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces; suction is weaker on textured or dusty ones.

How do I clean it? Rinse or wipe clean and leave to dry.

Spread a little soft food or treat across the textured surface.

Press it on firmly to a clean, smooth, non-porous surface — tiles, the side of the bath or a smooth floor.

Let them lick while you bathe, brush or trim.

Clean after each use and check the suction before relying on it. Always supervise, and remove the mat if your pet tries to bite or chew it — it's a distraction tool, not a chew toy or a full meal bowl.
